This fall’s Administrative Intern is Alexis Doyle. A native of Chicago, Alexis is a senior Political Science major at Illinois State University, Alexis is excited to bring the things she has learned in her coursework to MCLP. She is looking forward to putting her writing and communication skills to use as well as gaining hands-on experience.
“This program is about the community and giving people skills that can change their lives, and I’d like to be a part of that experience any way I can,” said Alexis after researching the program.
Alexis’s work so far has included editing and updating class emails, surveys, and the website. She is helping keep the Facebook posts up to date with photos from learning events, as well as helping with preparation for the October 20 Poverty Simulation. She even agreed to participate in “Promises, Promises” when we need an additional teammate. Join us in welcoming Alexis to MCLP!
