Keynote Speaker for MCLP Class of 2023
Mrs. Williams-Omilami is CEO of Hosea Helps, an organization serving the needy throughout the world. She is the daughter of two famous civil rights leaders: Hosea Williams and Juanita Williams. Hosea was with Martin Luther King Jr in Selma, organizing many events in the movement. Juanita Williams set aside her career as a writer to support her husband. Later, she became one of the first Black women in the Georgia legislature. “Mrs. O,” as her staff affectionately calls her, stepped back from her acting career to serve at Hosea Helps and continue her parents’ legacy. She is an honorary member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
