Have you ever found yourself surrounded by people who don’t speak the same language as you and who seem strangely offended by your ‘natural’ gestures?
The Multicultural Leadership Program participants found themselves in this very position and, for some, this wasn’t the first time. MCLP participants are diverse ethnically, as well as by gender and age. The third session of the program covered diversity, a subject not unfamiliar to this group. However, facilitator Heather Butler Taylor offered the members of the class a new perspective.
