For the second year in a row, the Multicultural Leadership Program (MCLP) is seeking nominations of MCLP alumni who have gone above and beyond in giving back to MCLP through volunteer service. Whereas the awards given at the MCLP graduation event honor individuals who provide leadership to our community as a whole, this recognition is specifically for volunteer service to MCLP, celebrating and recognizing:
- the nominee’s development and impact as a leader and volunteer
- for significant contribution through volunteer service to MCLP/MCLI
- advancing the mission, impact, and growth of the organization
As a small nonprofit organization with limited staffing, we rely on the generous service of many individuals who volunteer their time to make this program happen. This annual award recognizes MCLP alumni who give significant volunteer service to our program and organization — enabling the MCLP opportunity to continue for the participants who follow in their footsteps.
Nominations for this award are being accepted through Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 9 a.m. and will be presented on Thursday, July 26, 2018, during the MCLP Class of 2019 orientation/reception at Heartland Community College.
Nominations may be submitted here: Nomination Form
More information on the orientation reception is available here. It is open to the public, and we hope to see you there!
