MCLP Class of 2012 alum Janet Hood always finds a way to aid and serve. Take for instance her current position as the coordinator of administrative operations and planning at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal and Advocate Eureka Hospital in Eureka. Janet can now add another position to the already extensive list of ways in which she has served the community.
Janet has recently been selected by Heartland Community College to fill the vacant position on their board of trustees. She previously served Heartland as a member of the Foundation board and president of the Alumni Association.
Janet has a passion for aiding the place she calls home, serving on many boards, both area and statewide, in her 40 years as a McLean County resident, including the Town of Normal Zoning Board of Appeals, McLean County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the YWCA McLean County Board of Directors. Her appointment to Heartland’s board of trustees is another outlet for Janet’s boundless passion.
All of us at MCLP congratulate Janet on this achievement. We look forward to witnessing Janet’s accomplishments on the Heartland board of trustees and beyond!
