On April 13, 2013, twenty-five MCLP Class of 2013 participants graduated — bringing to a close eight months of intensive hard work, community service and personal growth. Class speaker, Emily Vigneri, reflected on the many gifts participants received, among them: knowledge, responsibility, and connections. Keynote speaker, Azim Khamisa, shared about the power of forgiveness and outreach as he put leadership courage into practice in his life.
Thanks to the Class of 2013, community service projects were completed for local non-profit organizations: David Davis Mansion, Autism Society of McLean County, Center for Youth and Family Solutions, Illinois Heart & Lung Foundation, and Labyrinth Outreach Services to Women.
Thank you to the Class of 2013 for your commitment and hard work. We celebrate this proud milestone, confident it will inspire your future accomplishments as servant leaders.
