University of Illinois ExtensionMcLean County and Heartland Community College have partnered with others in the area to establish a new option for developing culturally diverse leaders.
The Multicultural Leadership Program, which will begin this month, is intended to help prepare skilled, informed individuals for leadership roles in public, private, educational, political and nonprofit sectors. Additional goals include increasing minority involvement in community projects and generally promoting unity among residents.
