261 Fearless Team Survey

One of this year’s community projects is the local chapter of 261 Fearless, a global organization founded by Kathrine Switzer, the first woman to run the 1967 Boston marathon.  The name 261 memorializes the bib number Switzer wore in the race, which a race official tried to rip off of her when he discovered a woman had entered the men-only event. The organization is a network which empowers women to connect and take control of their lives through the freedom gained by running.

The local chapter, 261 Fearless Club Bloomington Normal, was founded in 2016 and is currently focused on reaching out to the community and increasing its membership. In order to gather some baseline information to be used to advise the Bloomington Normal chapter, the MCLP participants are surveying different segments of the community.

You can help the MCLP team add to its data by clicking on the link or using the QR code to take the survey. Your participation is greatly appreciated!
